Reggae Songstress Jahsmin Daley is a Singer, Songwriter and Performing Artist based in the Toronto area, who recently released her LATEST REGGAE SINGLE, ‘CHASING RAINBOWS’, as she has defined, “It is a song of inspiration, and of empowerment for understanding and strength on this journey we call life.” When listening to the musical composition of Jahsmin’s lyrics, lead and harmony vocals on her new ep, you’ll agree ‘Chasing Rainbows’ is another sweet original groove from this Roots Empress, produced by Mountain Edge Music Productions. This melodic versatile singer released two previous albums ‘Beauty Never Fades Inside’, which consists of eleven of Jahsmin’s original songs spanning genres such as Reggae, Dance, and R&B, produced by 5Rivers Entertainment Inc., and ‘Jahsmin Daley Reggae Classics’, bringing you sweet music vibes to rock, sway and groove you all day and night long, produced by Mountain Edge Music Productions. Jahsmin also released a single with Mobs Production entitled ‘If You Don’t Love Me’, her songs playing on radio stations across the globe. Jahsmin Daley has multiple Award Nominations to her name, her very first award received, ‘REGGAE SINGER’ Recognition Award at the Reggae Xclusive Magazine Annual Award Show 2013. Jahsmin received ‘TOP FEMALE VOCALIST’ Award, at the Uprising Music and Entertainment Productions, ‘Youth in Progress Talent Awards Show 2013. Nominated for the AIRM “PRESIDENT’S CHOICE”, ‘2012 INDIE REGGAE ARTIST OF THE YEAR’ Award, from AIRM the Association of Independent Reggae Music. Once again Indie-Rootz Records has been hard at work, both Bobby and Brian have sent out the links, done the late night sessions and volia, they have brought to you…Natty Congo Compilation. We are into our fourth and LAST compilation yes, last compilation album from the Indie-Rootz Record Label. From now on, we are going to be concentrating more on producing EP’s, Singles and Albums for artists as well as certain special projects. This being the last compilation album we have put our heart and soul, we have reached out to many of the artists from our past projects and some new artists, who have done us the honour of voicing on our last compilation for Indie-Rootz Records. This project has not been an easy one. Between networking with artists globally, we have had some setbacks getting this album finished. From late deadline entries, to some of the artists being ill. Yet, once each of the artists heard the riddim, they wanted to be a part of this compilation. All this being said they wanted to ensure that this would be the compilation that people will remember and talk about for years to come. How can Natty Congo be described, it has a 1970’s Studio One vibe straight out of Jamaica! Very positive, very bubbly, the kind of riddim that just makes you want to get up and dance! Artists featured on the album come from Jamaica, South Africa, Uganda, Germany, England, United States, and some of Canada’s best from Toronto and Montreal.
