NATTY CONGO COMPILATION, THE NEWEST ADDITION TO OUR LABEL Montreal, Quebec

Once again Indie-Rootz Records has been hard at work, both Bobby and Brian have sent out the links, done the late night sessions and volia, they have brought to you…Natty Congo Compilation. We are into our fourth and LAST compilation yes, last compilation album from the Indie-Rootz Record Label. From now on, we are going to be concentrating more on producing EP’s, Singles and Albums for artists as well as certain special projects. This being the last compilation album we have put our heart and soul, we have reached out to many of the artists from our past projects and some new artists, who have done us the honour of voicing on our last compilation for Indie-Rootz Records. This project has not been an easy one. Between networking with artists globally, we have had some setbacks getting this album finished. From late deadline entries, to some of the artists being ill. Yet, once each of the artists heard the riddim, they wanted to be a part of this compilation. All this being said they wanted to ensure that this would be the compilation that people will remember and talk about for years to come. How can Natty Congo be described, it has a 1970’s Studio One vibe straight out of Jamaica! Very positive, very bubbly, the kind of riddim that just makes you want to get up and dance! Artists featured on the album come from Jamaica, South Africa, Uganda, Germany, England, United States, and some of Canada’s best from Toronto and Montreal. If you want to know more support the artists and check out the album for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. Now available on ITunes, Amazon Also look out for Stacia Fya’s EP titled “Blazin”, a new Single from Juno Award winning Mikey Dangerous feat. Canadian EMPRESS LYRICS THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

Canadian EMPRESS LYRICS THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

Montreal, Quebec – Empress Lyrics better known as “The Lyrics Machine” strongly believes that life is about uplifting oneself. Once she realized this, she started to weed out all the negative people with their bad influences and her life started to improve. Surrounding herself with people that are motivators is the only way to go. Empress Lyrics connected with Brian Kotler; of Indie Rootz Records at the ReggaeXculsive Award show in Toronto (Canada). Brian noticed that she is a very talented and motivated artist. Naturally, she was asked to voice a track on their upcoming compilation album called “Natty Congo”. Empress Lyrics inked the words to create “Jah’s Will” which was inspired by the tragic events that led to the death of Trayvon Martin. How some people still practice systematic racism and the lack of justice that plagues many people in our world. Empress Lyrics believes that all this has led Jah to use her as one of his messengers. Empress Lyrics has the support of Jan G of Heart Of Empress, who only recruits artists that have positive songs and positive vibes. This is a big collaboration; Empress Lyrics is Canadian with Jamaican heritage. Brian is Canadian with a Jewish heritage and Jan G of Heart of Empress is Chinese with an Irish heritage. Empress believes if we can come together from different cultural backgrounds and push this song “Jah’s Will” then we can show that Love, Peace and Unity can conquer all.
